The Lego Stem Laboratory

The last mobility (Samsun, Turkey 16-20/05/2022)

         

             The last mobility of the Lego STEM Laboratory Erasmus project took place between  16-20/05/2022 in Samsun,Turkey. Students and teachers from Italy, Lithuania, Turkey and Romania participated in this mobility. 4 students and 2 teachers represented the Grigore Mihaescu Secondary School Vladesti, Romania.

            Our partner school Fatih Sultan Mehmet Ortaokulu is a secondary school which is locates in Samsun.This school is one of the best quality state schools in region Samsun. It is located in Atakum which is a town municipality about 20 km away from the centre of Samsun,TURKEY. Samsun is the largest city in Black Sea

Region and Atakum has got about 160.000 inhabitants. Families get their income from agricultural activities (mostly tobacca, hazelnut and vegetable fields). As social structure you can see traditional family structure. The school is set up in 2018 -2019 education test. There is a building with more than 30 classrooms, a new Computer Class, Library, Art Class.The school is equipped with photocopy machines , CD players, Tvs , smartboards . Lessons start at 8:40 a.m and finish at 3:10 p.m . The school proposes extra classes for students that have special difficulties on some subjects.
